The food was Great as Always, the service is SECOND to none. A Great place to eat with your family. Prices are well in what you get, and always have left overs.

We really like the food here. It's consistently good. It's Oktoberfest all month and their menu doesn't disappoint. I didn't give it 5 stars because it smells like dirty carpet inside. Needs a major interior update.

Nice place for a small event: went here recently for a friend's birthday celebration. We had a separate room and the servers were friendly. Food was very tasty but we waited over an hour for it to arrive.

Food was very good. Well prepared and tasty. Good portions. Staff was friendly. Only reason I gave it 3 stars was the place desperately needs to update the atmosphere. Needs new carpet and get rid of the sticky plastic table covers. The womens bathroom was disgusting. Again the food was very good. Drinks served nicely as well.

This was the most disgusting restaurant I have ever seen.As soon as you enter it there is a strong smellOf mold.The food has no taste , looks like is came from a frozen forever place ,and is poorest presented.They started us with tortilla chips that tasted as if they tweet in the closet for years.There were flies landing on the food and the salad was not even washed.I got sick from eating just a bite of it and ended up going to the doctor because of it.The food is a lot but is not worth it.The worst 50 bucks I ever spent.Don’t eat there!!!

Wide variety of food options. I had a great salad, and my friend raved about his food. I appreciated the nice touches, like honey for my tea. Waitresses were very nice too.

We had the broiled seafood platter, Asian chicken salad and crunchy shrimp dinner. Food was very good and they give you lots if it. With all the sides they give you I had to take some of it home. Bathrooms are clean and wait staff are friendly and helpful.

Started out great. Waited 40 mins for food while others who arrived much later were served. Finally asked for check do we could leave and they said there was a problem in kitchen. No one apologized or said anything before we left.

Had a burder and it was very tasty! Saturday night place was packed, DJ and dancing. Great time!

Most disappointing otherwise unmemorable did I say disappointing meal of my life,not to mention a bit embarassing,my friends drove 2 hours to see me and having heard nice things about it,I took them here. If not for the searing disapointment,the beige eggplant on top of the beige chicken( otherwise,two of my most favorite foods) which sadly,my friend also ordered. And the eyebrow raising cold piece of cake-- from a box I'm sure with tub-frosting,sad and inedible. Eggplant should have some sweetness,color and flavor, how they cooked it I can't even begin to imagine. Battered and what,steamed??

Joe Balch is a fantastic chef and a great guy. His restaurant offers a great atmosphere and good food. The portions are large and the fried foods are exceptional. The staff are super friendly. All the prices are reasonable and there is an excellent beer selection. This is the best place to eat in Milford.

Was pleasantly superized. Haven't eaten at Balch's is a very long time. Some close friends were visiting from upstate NY and joined us. We were all impressed, everything was cooked perfectly, hot and delicious, the staff was on their game, would highly recommend visiting Balch's Fish Fry for yourself, you won't be disappointed.

Excellent. Very pleasant staff. I had the stuffed flounder. Generous portion with large pieces of shrimp and crab meat in the stuffing. Came with a salad and 2 sides, again generous portions. This was priced at 19.95 which I thought reasonable for the amount you get.
